500 for a second hand?
Not worth it imo, but good luck.

Its pretty much brand new mate. You're getting $100 off for something that's been out of the box for less then 3 weeks? Pretty good deal if you ask me.

$540 brand new.
Lol.
And " pretty much " brand new, isn't brand new.
I'm not raging or anything, but it's like the old second hand car rule, as soon as you drive it off the car lot, it loses 10% of it's value ( or some s*** like that )

Id love to know how that computer lounge place is selling them so cheap, i can't get them for that much from the wholesalers
because most wholesalers have brought them from someone else which means dollars are to be put on that and then the next person , importing directly means the actual price they can add thier bit without the wholesalers , trust me i work with furniture and thats exactly the way it happens

We see it often with screens, we buy direct from LG for our screens and we find someone online buying them as well and adding $5 to the price, makes it hard for us. But this is the first time i've seen products sold signifigantly below the normal cost price.

5850 vs 5870 is the 70 that much better?
And would both run on a 650w PSU?

Nah, im busy enough as it is, have looked further and it seems only certain components are cheaper, the bulk is standard pricing, but if anyone ones anything at cost, let me know The 5870 has a noticeable performance increase over the 5850, and you should be able to run either of them on a 650w psu

If anyone is actually interested in buying it I can provide a photo with the purchase date ,receipt and card if need be. If it goes for 450 I'll even chuck in 4GB of DDR2 Ram
